Hello Everyone,

Discerning and understanding the right time is important. In certain things, we jump too soon, and in some cases, we wait too long. At times it becomes irrelevant by the time we take action. I can think of many incidents where I felt I was too late. Sometimes I ask myself a question before delaying something - “Will it impact eternity?” What is the consequence of being early or late with something? There are times when you may have to pay a fine when you are late. Other times it may be a missed opportunity.

Jesus Christ was aware of the right time. In John 7:6, Jesus said,

“My time has not yet arrived, but your time is always at hand.”

Again in John 7:8, Jesus said,

Go up to the festival yourselves. I’m not going up to this festival, because my time has not yet fully come.

We can see that in many places, Jesus acted on time. We all get discouraged at times regarding God not working on time. We need to trust that God will work out everything in His time. The bigger question is if we are on time or not. Do we value waiting or acting on time?

Last week was joyful as my son, Tim, took Water Baptism. We had a baptism service, and he had decided to make this public proclamation sometime ago. I thank God for giving me the health and strength to conduct the service. Felt happy to baptize my son as it was his decision that I should do it. You can listen to his testimony here. I also took his interview as part of the Thriving Talk Podcast. The episode is “I Have Decided.”

I am going on a ministry trip next week. I will share more details in the next edition of this newsletter. I will be out for almost three weeks. This will be my first trip out of the country after my recovery.

We will rarely have everything perfect and in the correct place. It may never happen if we wait for everything to get perfect before we do anything. Let us be thankful and move on. Let us be on time. Refrain from being too early, also. Pray and understand the will of God and keep moving and take steps of faith.

Great things are accomplished by people who can take steps of faith without doubting the providence of God.

Health/Personal Update

Thank you for your continued prayers for my complete recovery. I am doing fine overall. I had been dealing with a cold and sore throat but getting better. I am planning to travel out of the country next week. This will be my first travel post-treatment. Please pray that I will be healthy during my travel.

Once again, I want to thank everyone who has not given up but continues to pray for me.

It is not enough that we have our times of secret prayer to God alone with Him, we also need to have fellowship with others in prayer.
