Busy Break and New Assignments

Hello Friends and Family,

a wooden sign sitting in the middle of a forest

It is after two months that I am sending this newsletter. I took two months of summer break as I had many travels and assignments to complete the last two months. It was a busy break as I stayed away from online activities and podcasts but was busy with other things.

It all started with visits by some people who serve the Lord in other parts of the world and training for our staff in other countries during June. Every week I had training sessions scheduled, and it was a good time to train people who were ready to go to the ministry field and reach many youngsters.

July started with a one-week trip to India which was a great experience. I was privileged to conduct a wedding in one of the local languages of India. I still wonder why God assigned me that, but I thank the bridegroom and family who entrusted me with that responsibility. It was a hectic trip with some divine appointments, as I met some people unexpectedly. One which was a total surprise was the opportunity to meet P. G. Vargis uncle. I have heard about him and heard many messages, but it was the first time I got to see him in person. I met some others also who are great people serving the Lord in different capacities.

After reaching back, I had to take a quick trip to Chicago for one day to attend a funeral. Then we traveled to Oklahoma as a family to attend the SFCNA conference. I got the opportunity to preach the first message and share a little about my experience while being sick. Later during the conference, I also participated in a talk show with my wife where we were asked questions about our experience, and I enjoyed it. Overall it was a great conference. From there, we traveled to Dallas to attend an ICPF International meeting. I got the opportunity to share and then drove back. When I returned home, I realized that we had driven 2008 miles during that one trip!

During the SFCNA conference, I was assigned the role of the President of Sharon Fellowship Churches of North America (SFCNA) churches. Initially, I was not in the meeting and never thought this responsibility would come to me. It shocked and surprised me, but now I am sure it is an assignment the Lord gave for an appointed season. I am committed to doing what I can with this assignment. Someone pointed out to me that it was precisely two years after my diagnosis that I got this assignment—the same date. Let me encourage you, if you feel like everything is over, God may be preparing you for something new or more significant in His plans.

As I look forward, many things must be completed before I can sign off 2023. The following months will be focused on that. Still, I will continue the Thriving Newsletter to share my updates.

✍️Quote of this edition

The will of God will never take you, where the grace of God cannot keep you, where the arms of God cannot support you, Where the riches of God cannot supply your needs, Where the power of God cannot endow you.

The will of God will never take you, Where the spirit of God cannot work through you, Where the wisdom of God cannot teach you, Where the army of God cannot protect you, Where the hands of God cannot mold you.

The will of God will never take you, Where the love of God cannot enfold you, Where the mercies of God cannot sustain you, Where the peace of God cannot calm your fears, Where the authority of God cannot overrule for you.

The will of God will never take you, Where the comfort of God cannot dry your tears, Where the Word of God cannot feed you, Where the miracles of God cannot be done for you, Where the omnipresence of God cannot find you.

📔My Health/Personal Update

Thank you for your continued prayers for my complete recovery. Lab results are stable. There are still a few things that need to be normalized before the medications will be taken off.

Once again, I want to thank everyone who has not given up but continues to pray for me.
