Hello Everyone,
The 2022 Midterm elections are happening today in the USA. Very soon, we will know the results. Some will celebrate, and many will be disappointed. Only one candidate will win, and others will lose. The margin of victory or defeat will be shared, but that will not make a big difference.
The Bible teaches us that those who have accepted Jesus as Lord and savior do not have to contest an election but are elected. This election involves God choosing a particular person or group for a particular task or relationship, especially eternal life.
10 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, 11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1: 10-11, NIV)
Health/Personal Update
Thank you for your continued prayers for my complete recovery. I am still recovering from the cold I had a few weeks ago. As I shared last week, I will be going for some tests and getting the next series of vaccines this week. Please pray for my body to respond well.
