As is true of man who is born naturally and receives a human nature from his parents, so man born anew receives a new nature, a new capacity for service and devotion to God. - John F. Walvoord #bornagain #saved #newlife #newnature

Hello Everyone,

There are times when we feel down and then think about unwanted things and may end up complaining. Life can seem hard and harsh. We allow our energy for today to be drained thinking about an unknown future. There are many things that could be different. We said or did things in a hurry which is still hurting us and others. A little patience may have brought different outcomes.

As humans, we change and lack consistency. That is not the case with our God. The Bible teaches us that he is an unchanging God. One thing which is stable is His love and mercies. His mercies are new every day. What is this mercy?

Mercy is the compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one's power to punish or harm.

Yes, we deserve to be punished for things we did and it is within the power of God to do it. But he chooses to show compassion and forgiveness. It is new every morning. Just like Jesus had compassion over the large crowd and gave them to eat, which was their need at that time, by performing a miracle, He will also do that in our life. God will meet all our needs every day as his mercies never run out. God’s mercies are experienced by everyone, irrespective of where they are. Below is a real photo send to me from Myanmar. This kid is also experiencing God’s mercy every day, like us.

Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, or his mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness! (Lam. 3:22-23, CSB)

Health/Personal Update

Thank you for your continued prayers for my complete recovery. Last week I had my last series of vaccinations and my follow-up checkups. Everything looks good. There are still a few things that have to become normal, and hence I will be on some medications for some more time. Otherwise, I can resume normal activities but have to be careful with a few things.

Once again, I want to thank everyone who has not given up but continues to pray for me.
