Hello Everyone,
I am writing this newsletter from Cameroon. I reached here on Saturday after a long 24 hrs. journey. This is my first out-of-country travel since my recovery. I am traveling with two other leaders of ICPF International Inc. We will be going to a few more countries in the coming weeks. Before that, I met our ministry partners in Dallas, who prayed for me during difficult times. It was a joy to meet them and share the goodness of God. Many came to see me just because they were praying for my recovery. What I am experiencing now is an answer to the prayers of many.
We got a warm welcome from our local Cameroon team at the airport when we arrived in Cameroon. It was a special moment as I was greeted by a Police officer who welcomed me and then said she was from ICPF. It was my first experience being welcomed into a country by a police officer who volunteers with the ministry.
I got to minister at Christ’s Bride Assembly on Sunday, and it was my first service and ministry experience in Africa. I enjoyed everything that happened, including God's mighty move during the service. Later, I also got the privilege to go and pray for the land where they are building a Training center and church. I think it will be a significant asset for the ministry in this area.
We are visiting schools to meet children and request administrators to include our Thrive program in the curriculum. A Pastor’s meeting, youth meeting, staff and volunteers training, etc., are planned throughout the week. Many things are happening, and I sense a door for ministry opening. You can watch the video of children singing and welcoming us here- Kids in Cameroon.
While doing my morning devotion yesterday, I read John chapter 15.
You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. (John 15:17, NLT)
We are chosen and appointed to produce lasting fruit. What a privilege it is to serve our God. Last year around this time, I could not imagine traveling anywhere. Our God changes our circumstances and will ensure that the purpose for which He has appointed us will be fulfilled.
We have internet problems here. I will share more updates in the coming weeks.
Health/Personal Update
Thank you for your continued prayers for my complete recovery. I am doing fine overall, even though I moved from a cold to a hot climate this week.
Once again, I want to thank everyone who has not given up but continues to pray for me.
