Hello Everyone,

I am happy to send this newsletter after one week’s break. Last week I was traveling and then took some time to rest and recover. My trip to New York was smooth, except for the long lines at the TSA counters. As I said last time, I traveled outside my state for the first time after my illness. I was flying after 2.5 years.

I landed at EWR airport, which brought back a lot of memories. It was here that I landed for the first time in the USA about 17 years ago. For me, it was a moment of remembrance. We all come across such moments where we go back to memory lane and reflect. Most of those moments are times to give thanks to God for how He has helped us this far.

4 So Joshua called together the twelve men he had chosen—one from each of the tribes of Israel. 5 He told them, “Go into the middle of the Jordan, in front of the Ark of the Lord your God. Each of you must pick up one stone and carry it out on your shoulder—twelve stones in all, one for each of the twelve tribes of Israel. 6 We will use these stones to build a memorial. In the future your children will ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ 7 Then you can tell them, ‘They remind us that the Jordan River stopped flowing when the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant went across.’ These stones will stand as a memorial among the people of Israel forever.” (Joshua 4:4-7)

As we end another eventful year soon, are there moments of remembrance in our life? We can be thankful for God’s faithfulness.

Health/Personal Update

Thank you for your continued prayers for my complete recovery. I am still recovering from some cold and tiredness after getting the vaccines. I will be going back to Rochester during the 2nd week of December for my annual testing, which includes a biopsy.

Snow is here in this region. It will be a few months of cold, snow, and gloominess. But we can all look forward to this season ending soon and wait for spring. Seasons in our life are not permanent. They will change.
