Hello Everyone,
We all have come across stories where a timely word changed a person’s destiny. Someone shared with me how they did not end up committing suicide because someone called them and spoke to them right before they committed the act.
I have had many experiences in which I was saved from taking drastic steps or decisions because someone said something. The funny thing is that many times we plan to take drastic steps due to what others did or said. The other side is that God uses other people to rescue us. There was this one incident where I had decided to move on and get out of a few things I was involved in. Based on some people’s reactions, I felt useless and thought I was wasting my time and life when I knew deep inside that I was doing it purely in obedience to God. I felt everything I was doing was meaningless. I felt very discouraged. Then something happened. I got a text message from a very simple person. I never expected anything from them or thought they understood many things I was saying or doing. Their message was about how they were thankful for what I was doing, and that they were blessed. That one message changed my thoughts at that time. It just gave me the encouragement I needed to continue in obedience.
Many times we say a lot of flattering things about others. I have realized that Holy Spirit-inspired words at the right time have the potential to save a life but can help encourage someone to continue to be faithful and obedient to God.
When we arrived in Macedonia, there was no rest for us. We faced conflict from every direction, with battles on the outside and fear on the inside. But God, who encourages those who are discouraged, encouraged us by the arrival of Titus. (2 Cor. 7:5-6)
We can be like Titus. An instrument in the hands of God to encourage and change destiny.
Health/Personal Update
Thank you for your continued prayers for my complete recovery. Last week’s appointments went well, and I got many vaccines. I am still recovering from the effects of the vaccines. I will be going back to Rochester during the 2nd week of December for my annual testing, which includes a biopsy.
As I shared last week, I will be traveling this week. Excited to fly again after a long time.
